Baton Versus Gun

Loveland. Colorado – An underage teenager craving for respect that he fancied he deserves, decided to threaten a store clerk with a metal baton.

CBS Denver reported that the clerk took out his gun and pointed it on the teenager.

The Larimar County Sheriff ruled this as an act of self-defense. The news describes the suspect as a juvenile like any other teenage punk; misguided and an unproductive menace to society.

The suspect fled and luckily no one was hurt. Well done by the store clerk for handling the situation in a sober manner. As for the teenage dude, he will grow to realize how idiotic his actions were.

It is not reported however if the clerk is a concealed carrier but considering he has a loaded gun that was not noticed by the suspect, we can say he handled himself pretty well.

If he will not learn his lesson from this experience,  he will be in the news again in the future. We sure hope not.
