• A 24 year old man who has a concealed carry
  permit was attacked in his home by two intruders.  They beat him and attempted to rob him in his
  driveway when he was returning home at about 2:30am.  The man managed to retrieve his firearm and
  shot and killed one of his attackers and injured the second with a shot to the
  knee. 

• A Marine Corps veteran and concealed carry
  permit holder was driving when he saw a man kicking and beating a woman on a
  sidewalk.  The marine pulled his weapon
  and yelled ‘stop’ at the attacker. He managed to stop the attack until police
  arrived.

• A 70 year old man who was a reserve police
  officer and basketball coach was walking two of his basketball players to their
  cars when they were attacked by a pair of armed men.  The coach drew his firearm and shot
  attackers, killing one and wounding another before they could harm anyone.

• And yet another instance where a man, Kelby
  Smith, with a concealed carry permit was leaving a family member’s home when an
  attacker put a gun to his head and demanded money.  The man drew his own weapon while handing
  over all the money that he had and the attacker then turned his gun on a third
  person, the father of a 2 month old.   Mr. Smith fired and injured the attacker to
  protect the other man.
